1. Mr. Thought Sparks who also happens to have a really good post about Home Network Best Practices and this really ROFL youtube video of a baby laughing.
2. Ms. Butrfly Garden. Please visit her site and sponsor Team Isabella in the March of Dimes. She also has several great posts on how to make the world a little bit cleaner.
Thanks guys for my very first blogger award (even if it's really a meme that the Thinking Blogger wanted to start). I'm glad I make you think about silly things thought provoking stuff like eating poop and training The Princess to be a useful helper. Hee Hee. Somebody's got to get the wheels turning on such important topics right? I'm just talking about the things everyone really wants to hear about and who knows...maybe one day my posts will never one day help you win a game of Triva Pursuit.
Now that I've gotten my acceptance speech out of the way, it's time for me to tell you who has me thinking. As a disclaimer, I don't always comment on their posts (but I do read them), so I don't know if they actually read my blog but they really do make me think (i.e. I'm not sure if they'll keep the meme going).
Here are the Instructions:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of this award.
3. Optional: Proudly display the “Thinking Blogger Award” (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn’t fit your blog.)
And the nominees are:
- It's a Numeric Life...a thought provoking blog with lots of statistics. Including one about why women often choose the jerk rather than the dad and one about which gender works more.
- Adventures in the 916 whose life makes me think about Bridget Jones and her diary. Her blind date misadventures and her bloopers bring me back to the fun of reading a good chick lit book.
- Parent Hacks whose site gives me Tons of helpful tips. Things like helpful kid links, how to entertain your kids during airport delays, and organizing toys
- Jackie who isn't really a blogger but she helps me find other really good blogs by either posting about them or I check out what communities she's a part of @ mybloglog.com. She is also helping me figure out what my next good read will be.
- Kellementology a fellow reader and American Idol fan.
Sorry to cut this short but The Princess had declared that she's leaving me and that I better hurry up. BTW-- she's so smart that she brought me a magazine from the bathroom and said "look mama I found Amekan Idol"...it was the American Idol issue of People magazine. How did she know it was American Idol??? Also: if there are typos, sorry...no time to proof.

Cherann, great picks. Thanks for mentioning those posts. Looks like I hit a chord with folks. Keep keep'n on sister. You're a great think'n mom.
It's good to win :)
Hi Cherann, Gee, thanks! I'm all puffy and stuff. I'm recovering from my weekend away from blogdom (which I missed horribly) and am now scratching my head about whom I may nominate myself. I can't wait to checkout the others you tagged because a reason to sit in front of my computer screen is less time on life's responsibilities! :-}
Congratulations!!!!
Now I must check out your nominees...
I wouldn't worry too much about the Blog Awards. They are ridiculous. (I realize I have buttons up, but I've been thinking about taking them down).
But really, Rose O'Donnell was up for Hottest Daddy Blogger at one point...and winning. Yet, there I sit with my three votes! (One was me!) So, really, don't worry about it.
The Thinking Blogger is much better! Hahah...if for no other reason than you get to use it as a post. :)
Hey! I'm blushing! Thanks! :-D
I just nominated you for the Blogger's Choice Awards. It's totally not a pity nomination - I've been meaning to do it for quite a while now and just hadn't gotten around to it yet (oops.)
Cherann, thanks. I like to be No.1.
