This is an LA Times photo of fire fighters that got put into a very dangerous situation. Luckily they survived. You can see and read the article at http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2007-10/33404633.jpg
My thoughts and prayers go out to those who have lost their houses. I've never seen so many houses go up in flames, it's absolutely crazy. I've got friends and family that have been evacuated and damage due to the wind but we're still pretty lucky so far. . .

Stay safe!
Oh, hon, I've been so worried about everyone!! I'm so glad your family is okay!! It was hard just to watch the news, I can't imagine being so close to it all.
You stay safe and keep us all updated, okay!?
Hope you are safe...
I'm thinking of everyone there...
bless your heart! I am so sorry you are having to endure this. my heart is praying that it all comes to an end soon as that would obviously be best for everyone!
Glad to hear that you are OK - I was just going to e-mail you today to make sure! My thoughts have definitely been will all the people affected by the fires. Please keep us updated.
Glad you're o.k.
I can't imagine how bad the air is there, as when we left San Francisco on Tuesday it was starting to get pretty hazy all the way up there.
Hope things stay well and safe for you and your family.
stay safe indeed.
So awful isn't it. Hope you continue to stay safe!
Are you ok? I am down in Long beach and we had smoke and ash everywhere. It is not healthy but thank God the Santa Anas eased up...
