A Request From My Bloggy Friends

Hi again my bloggy friends. I'm not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I have taken on a board position and newsletter "editor" for my mom's group. It starts in July and it made me think ..."oh sh*t, I've got to get a newsletter together before the end of this month. What the hell am I going to write about?".

So I started thinking really hard (and this may be why I have a headache now) and I thought...why don't I ask my blogging community? I'm asking you dear readers if you have any blog posts that I can put into my Mom's Group newsletter. It has to be a post that is relevant to moms and I have to approve its appropriateness. In exchange, I'll give you complete credit for the article in the newsletter and list your blog address (maybe you'll get some new readership).

Thanks bloggers

I don't think any of my posts fall into the "appropriate" category.

What kind of newsletter is it? What kind of stuff do they expect you to write? Fiction, tips, funny true stories? I feel really nosy.

Wow. That's cool.
I wish I had something for you...You are welcome to search my favorite posts and take what you like...I would be honored. But I doubt I have anything for you...

Good luck.

Good luck.
You're welcome to use any of my posts, but I'm not sure they want to read all about my boobs since it seems like that's all I'm writing about lately. :)

How about "Tips for Traveling"?? Since we are leaving for Myrtle Beach on Tues, I have this topic on my brain and am getting nervous to fly with the 3 boyz since we've never done it before and I have NO IDEA whether it will turn out to be a good idea or a HORRIBLY BAD one!

Any of my posts would probably cause your mom's group to say "What tha?"

But I am part of a mom's of twins group and a couple of the newsletter features I like are the Fun Healthy kids snacks/recipes they list and then they do a feature on a really popular disciplinary method called "Love & Logic". I can't remember the author of the book but they do tons of seminars and I'm sure you could Google it.

Two words: Color Wonder
.

Normally, I think these things stifle creativity (at least the coloring books Sunshine got did) but they are amazing for keeping the tots busy without making a mess.

If they are old enough to read, I would suggest a couple books about where you are going, too. They'll feel like super geniuses knowing all about it.

Our next trip, it will be Ninja Boy's job to write postcards out.

I agree with a lot of the tips they gave you on that one website, except talking to strangers. But I'm a sociophobe.
